Blue Meanies magic mushrooms are one of the world’s most potent shrooms. So, before you consider tripping with the shroom the first time, try reading significant facts about it first.
What are Blue Meanies?
In the psychedelic shroom world, two strains are called “Blue Meanie”, one is from Psilocybe Cubensis and there’s Panneolus Cyanscens. Both species are highly potent, but the latter strain is dramatically more potent than the former. The Panneolus Cyanscens is known 2 -3 times more potent than the potent strains in Psilocybe Cubensis family.
If you are thinking of tripping with Blue Meanies for the first time, it is best to start with one of the most popular highly potent strains of shroom- Blue Meanie P. Cubensis.
What does Blue Meanies Cubensis look like?
Blue Meanie Cubensis differ from Panneolus Cyanscens, in both potency level and appearance, so you should not get too confused between the two.
The Blue Meanie Cubensis cap is 4 centimeters wide and has a smooth surface. The shroom’s cap is golden caramel and sometimes sprinkled with white. And if the shroom is ready for consumption, it turns gray.
Blue Meanies’ stem ranges from 10 to 12 cm high, while its thickness ranges from 12 – 4 mm thick.
The Blue Meanie under P. Cubensis strain is considered the most potent among the strains. Its effects are noticeably strong, including:
- Strong or intense auditory and visual hallucinations
- Strong euphoria
- High energy
- Intense introspection
Some trippers, especially those who have recently switched from lesser potent to another level, would often experience
- A strong or heavy body buzz
The effects of the Blue Meanie Cubensis depend on the number of shrooms consumed and the trippers’ current mental and physical status.
Like many other shrooms, the Blue Meanie Cubensis is consumed according to the recommended dose. Here is how the shroom is measured:
- Microdose: 0.25 grams
- Low dose: 0.25 – 1 gram
- Medium dose: 1 – 2 grams
- Strong dose: 2.5 – grams
- Heavy dose: 5 grams and more
New psychedelic mushroom trippers are not allowed to consume Blue Meanies as it is highly potent. Meanwhile, shroom shifters (trippers who have shifted from less potent shrooms to shrooms with higher potency levels) are recommended to consume the shroom at microdoses to avoid negative experiences.
If the tripper is capable of handling a higher shroom dose, they are recommended to consume the shroom with a sitter. When a highly potent shroom is consumed, the intensity of the effects is deemed high. Some of these strong effects are not easy to handle, even if the trippers have been casually using psychedelic mushrooms.
Blue Meanie Cubensis is a highly potent psychedelic mushroom, but not as potent as the “true Blue Meanie”. Nevertheless, the Blue Meanie Cubensis should not be consumed without considering the tripper’s current physical and mental status and the right dose. You should check the general magic mushroom dose guide if you are having difficulties finding the right dose for you.
