From the Department of Shameless Self-Promotion

Dear readers: I'm sorry to have to inform you that I've been unfaithful to you. For more than a year now much of my "blogging time" has been invested in building onpoli.ca: politics, policy and governance in Ontario. It seemed to me that the second largest government in Canada deserved more attention than it was getting and this was my solution. Or at least a beginning.

While I've put a lot of time into it, until now I haven't done a lot to promote it. As a consequence it's not getting a lot of traffic but a few people who do visit regularly tell me it's an excellent tool for those with an interest in Ontario politics. So maybe it's time to drum up a bit more business.

Yesterday evening I put up A belated first anniversary post that will explain a bit more about what's going on there. Feel free to drop by, read and then have a look around. Be advised though: that post does solicit funds as well as attention. And be advised as well, as I mentioned in a footnote there, that the same pot of money that pays for hosting that site also pays for this one. Supporting one effectively supports the other.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled Labour Day activities.
