I've been feeling pretty crappy today so I'm going to wimp out and just throw up one and run. But it's a long one. And that fellow in the middle does play a nice guitar. Have a good weekend.

"Save it for a Friday night ..."
Y'know, as I was listening to that beautiful performance, I was thinking that there is something so Celtic about that song. So I looked up Mark Knopfler. Glasgow to Newcastle ... that fits. It's music of the Highlands and islands, and the hard-scrabble working people of the north too. Magic. Thanks, pogge.
Get well, Pogge. Take care of yourself.
And if you are going to "throw up one and run", this would be a good one to throw. One of my favorite bands. One of my favorite songs. Thank you for this. You have a good weekend too, ya hear?
Mark Knopfler is a god of the guitar. I've always been very fond of "Sultans of Swing", and never ran across this version before. Nice.
