Don't look at me that way. You've paid all your bills? Och, but the numbers hurt my head.

Bessie Smith still owns this song, 1923 and never done better. Others have done it well since, though, especially Bessie's wonderful reincarnation Janis. You can tell when a blues singer truly aspires, because he will figure out his own way to do this song.

Sing it Sister.

This is the worst time of year. More deductions on your paycheque. Xmas bills. High heating costs. Toronto sends various invoices, from property tax to dog licenses. (Cats too!) My birthday is coming up which means license plates and related costs.

Bah.

Note to self: check Antonia's birthday.

Did you see that keyboard, btw? Wow. I wonder what you do with that much keyboard.
