Have I mentioned this before?

You don't get good government from people who think government is the problem.

Y'know, pogge, if you keep writing posts like this, you're never going to get a Senate appointment.

Neither does one get solutions coming from people who are the problem!

Mike Harris, redux.

Aha. A ray of hope from Mark Francis. What finally took Harris down? Maybe not one single thing, but Walkerton really shook people. So did Ipperwash.

Harper is beginning to make mistakes of the kind that large numbers of people, not just political wonks, really notice.

Harris and crew were incompetent. Ideology is not a substitute for policy analysis and implementation.

Harper has the same sickness. He is a highly centralized manager. That has to mean that many things that need to be done, won't be, because he can't stay on top of it all.

Look at the AG slamming the lack of Federal disaster planning. Four years to act, nothing done.

Harper is the Wizard of Oz.

At least the Wizard of Oz could successfully build a hot air balloon. Harper's only capable of filling one with hot air.

I forget where I read it now or the exact words used, but somebody on the internet wrote that Peter Donolo was likely to give Liberal staffers real specific jobs to do, instead of having them just hanging around potentiating development or whatever.

It made me wonder how many political staffers nowadays actually understand what they have to do to make government run.

Apparently Pamela Wallin is mad at me was the previous entry in this blog.

I believe the polite way to say it is "fish or cut bait" is the next entry in this blog.
