Friday night

See if this doesn't warm things up nicely.

From 1964 here's Hubert Sumlin on guitar and Willie Dixon on bass backing up Howlin' Wolf in full growl.

And finally, with lots of piano for skdadl, this is Jon Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentlemen. Have a good weekend.

Och, if only all my monsters were gentlemen like those guys. But it was fun to play along with them (I do the less mellow parts).

Gracie's never seen the chair dance before, but don't worry -- she'll be out in an hour or so.

For the benefit of those following along at home, Gracie is a cat.

So did Gracie come back out?

Oh, yes. Chicken chow mein -- works every time (as long as the door is closed against the other monsters that lurk).
