Friday night

I don't think our politicians have quite got the knack of coalitions. It's supposed to involve people working together. Like Gary Moore and B. B. King on Since I Met You Baby. (Give it a minute. It picks up.)

There's a big fat bonus track on the flip.

I've posted this before but it's worth a second look. This is the same two players on an extended version of The Thrill Is Gone. Have a good weekend.

Oh, I think they have the hang of coalitions just fine. The problem is, both of the big parties are so addicted to the absolute power given to them by the first past the post electoral system that they just can't shake the notion that "They can be king", if only they hold out as a "strong" party until the next election. You can't be a "strong" party if you are seen to share power, so we get the half-assed coalition lite we see today.

Heh. Coalition lite. That is very good, Greg. Wear that, Iggy.

Don't follow leaders and watch your parking meters.

I though the Coalition would be Canada's answert to the Obama movement.

I obviously need to turn this place over to Dylan one of these Friday nights.
