Shorter Tom Flanagan

Excuse me while I write a bunch of bafflegab designed to serve as cover for claiming that the Liberal-NDP coalition involves a secret agreement with those nefarious separatists.

See here:

The Liberals and NDP have published the text of their accord but not of their agreement with the Bloc.

And here:
... those who voted for the Liberals, NDP or Bloc in the last election could not possibly have known they were choosing a Liberal-NDP government supported by a secret protocol with the Bloc.

So if it's a secret, how does Tom Flanagan know about it?

It's a rhetorical question. He pulled it out of his ass.

And just who is Tom Flanagan? As identified in the link, "Tom Flanagan is professor of political science at the University of Calgary and a former Conservative campaign manager."

Ah! Well, he pulled it out of somebody's ass ...

The whole premise is nuts: We have a minority government. If we are a 'required' democracy as per our Charter, how can we have a minority government at all? How can the majority will install a minority? Non sequitur...

But Flanagan doesn't care. He is a strong advocate of creating populism to overcome reality and the rule of law.

Flanagan is our Von Ribbentrop. He deserves the same fate.

I hope that everyone reads this at Northern BC Dipper's place. As To Ride, Shoot Straight and Speak the Truth says, "Tom Flanagan pwned."

Considering that all Marlene Jennings, the lead negotiator for the Liberals, will tell anyone is that they rejected demands that Bill 101 be applied to federally-regulated companies in Quebec, Canadians have a right to know what other demands the Bloc made, and which ones the Liberals acquiesced to.

Especially when one considers that the rejected demands will make a reappearance once the Bloc has some real leverage.

I've seen your act in other venues, Patrick. Say goodbye. You don't play here.

I just looked at the link above. Flanagan is claiming that he got edited by the Globe which changed the meaning of what he wrote. Shouldn't we be seeing fireworks at the Globe if that was the case?
