And now I have a reason to present Phil Ochs. Did I need a reason to present Phil Ochs? Joe Hill was a labour activist and organizer for the Industrial Workers of the World as well as a folk singer and song writer. After his execution in 1915 for a murder that no one is too sure he committed, there were some folk songs written about him. This is a biography in song.

Good possibilities for air piano with the Strawbs, too.
Ah skdadl, there once was a Union Maid.

"Don't mourn - organize!"
Billy Bragg's Which Side Are You On?
Someone at EW's place just reminded me of this, which I believe pogge has already played one Friday night 'way back there.
Not exactly a union song, unless you think that men deserve a union just because. Great performance, though.
Negatory on the cost of this machine, there, Red Rider.
Priceless!
