Oh, dear, I think I hurt myself. Too old to do the splits any more.
How 'bout those shoes, eh? LOL
Last night we talked about his death and someone speculated that he died when he learned he would be in Saskatchewan, Canada in February! And I wondered if someone at pogge would Friday Night Blues blog his passing.
as a young kid james brown would have my siblings and me howling at his gestures and movements...it wasn't until we were older we realized what a great showman he was. r.i.p. to the soul man's soul man!!!
Maybe its' the "recollected in tranquility" thing ..... but I did not realize what a great showman he was. I was too busy just enjoying to see the mechanics of it.
No wonder everyone else is 'after James Brown'
He was fabulous and I met him in Vancouver, Canada when he was playing at a club. He was absolutely stunning performing in this type of venue as you could feel his energy at a high velocity. What made it so special was his invite to sit at their reserved table where we sat and visited with him.
