Fox News cleared for Canadian TV
The Fox News Channel will soon be coming to Canadian digital TV.The CRTC, Canada's broadcast regulator, announced today that the right-wing, all-news channel can be carried by Canadian cable companies on digital.
So, do you think this will stop all the claims that the CRTC are a bunch of commies intent on censoring free expression and enforcing political group-think?
Probably not.
Personally I don't have cable television so I'll have to continue to get along without a regular dose of Bill O'Reilly. I'll try and bear up under the strain.
This is going to be awesome. Its going to be a new insult against Conservatives in this country: "That might play on Fox News, but not in Canada. The Conservative Party of Canada just doesn't understand."
I hope Stephen Harper does an O'Reilly interview.
Don't feel bad - your not really missing that much. The novelty wears off and sometimes thin. I'd gladly trade O'Reilly for reruns of the Beachcombers. If Harper looked more like Relic, then I'd watch.
